Saying Goodbye, Follow My New Journey
Hey all,
I know it's been quite a while since I last photographed anything or even posted on here. I wanted to share with you guys my new project: THE BALLER ON A BUDGET.
I launched this blog about 7 months ago in the midst of a job layoff and almost becoming homeless. My hardships at the time were what inspired me to start fresh and embark on a journey to work for myself.
I have since then lost the fire to take pictures, but I wanted to share with you my reason why I have no longer been active in photography. This has been a really tough subject to bring into words, but I feel like my mental health was something that prevented me from movin
New Website!
So after years of being on my previous web builder, I've moved on to bigger and better things! My website has been flipped over and completely redesigned and updated!
Do take a gander and let me know what you think!

I'll still be making some minor tweaks such as smoother transitions from page to page, but it's pretty much updated! Now, to produce some brand new work to compliment the new web design :)
Thank you, for everything.
Wow, the last time I posted on DA was in 2013.
I have been busy. I have been on and off a hiatus for photography because, life happens. This isn't easy to say. None of it is.
In 2012 I was dealing with a lot of personal issues in my life. I was extremely sick. I could have probably died. I was bulimic for 8 years and had to go through therapy in order to fix myself. So, I sort of went inside myself and focused on healing my body, and my heart.
In 2013 I went through a lot of emotional problems with my family that created rifts between us.
Friends walked in and out of my life. I learned to cut people out of my life who weren't good for me
It's been such a long time...
I like how it took me 10 minutes to figure out how to post a new journal entry, LOL.
To be honest I've forgotten all about DA just because of being a full-time student for a few months and focusing on getting myself healthier again as I was pretty ill for about a year or so. I keep saying I'll post again on DA, but it hasn't been happening just because I'm not doing photography full-time--mostly been doing cosplay photos every few months and taking it easy this year. Health is first priority!
I've been posting more on my Facebook Page, so if you're interested in following me on there: www.facebook.com/aileenluibphotography

I think the last few months have just been some conflagration of consolations or something, because I've been seriously impaired in my artistic endeavors also. And because it affects me, I'm sure it affects everyone else... right?
I don't pretend to know what pains you're going through, but as always, I wish you luck and whatever support I can offer in getting through them. I will say this: Don't be sad if you find you don't like professional fashion photography as much as hobbyist photography; it's a sign that you simply enjoy taking beautiful pictures with meanings that are important to you, nothing else.
And also, oh my freaking god, please put that Madoka Kaname on DA so that I can fave it. Twice.
